Westport comes in first as the best town (wot a surprise.) Even my lovely grey old Shrule does quite well from its 4 votes, notwithstanding Debs.

My son is 14 and will be starting his junior cert next year. His grades are average with some not so good. His teachers all tell me that he is well able to achieve good grades. I don't want to push him too much but I don't want to regret that I didn't make more of an effort to help him do better. We live in Castlebar.

I have seen many blogs like this blog. For some time, I told myself I should be trying to put together one similar to this as well, though I am not computer gifted on how to do it. What is this so-called web2.0 all about? Is it hard to learn? Must I be versatile in computers to set up a blog? I am trying to hammer together a simple blog for my high pressure ball valve manufacturing website. Can the design be added seamlessly into a present website?

I need some clarification as to, will the broadband scheme involve a hardline/phoneline broadband service or, will it be a mobile broadband service in these "rural areas"?
I already have Mobile broadband and it does not compare to the level of performance already provided in large towns and cities, not to mention the level of service of hardline/phoneline broadband provided in these large towns or cities already.
Then there is the question of choice and value for money, this is very limited in rural areas, and in some cases the prices are obscene! I checked with one service provider and they wanted approx euro550.00 for set up and installation, of course it was for satelite broadband, but the price was still insane, as i want the service for home/domestic use, not business.
